Unveiling Postmodern Collaborative Practice

 

 Experiencing an educational journey consisting of transforming from where I started and grew as a traditional clinician to a place where I am today.

  Dr. Theo Stephenson spend years mentoring and training with Harlene Anderson, Ph.D. and associates.  Dr. Anderson an international leader in the development of collaborative –dialogue practices, and applies her approach to therapy, organization development, education, research, coaching and consultation….. Years of additional studies allowed her to embrace Postmodern Collaborative Therapy and Collaborative Coaching.

 Dr. Stephenson’s years of experience arrives from an array of various mental health agencies, residential treatment centers, sharing a practice, presenting at several universities, and private schools, working with families, individual adults, teenagers and adolescents.

 Most recent work experience consisted of Upper School Counselor, Director of Counseling, at a private school in Boca Raton, and Miami Shores. Florida. During her tenure she taught Life Skills Classes,  implemented programs and invited expert speakers, expanding educational knowledge, providing resources in different venues for students parents and occasionally all school community.   She also developed and implemented a Peace Makers Program for students and parents.  Peer Support Team for students, Divorce and Stress Management Group,  Random Acts of Kindness, Rites of Passage, The Buddy Club, Lunch Bunch Groups for males and females students, supported and assisted with community services projects, Developed and implemented at the Upper School level in Boa Raton  Student Academic Accommodations Program and served as the Direct for nine years, today the program is known as “Student Support Services.”  

Dr. Stephenson interacting style in counseling, consulting and coaching from a Collaborative perspective is an engaging experience. Collaborative Coaching with teenagers and young adults from a post modern stance, experience conversations and possibilities..
